The ASN tribunal makes its decision after carefully considering all the evidence and arguments presented. It may, very rarely, give an oral decision shortly after the end of the hearing. This does not happen very often but it might be that parties reach an agreement in the course of the hearing or the tribunal can deliberate the issue within a relatively short time. In such circumstances an oral decision may be given but will always be followed up by a written decision.
The full written decision will be provided within 10 working days unless there are otherwise exceptional reasons. Where it is not possible to produce the decision within 10 working days the case officer will provide regular updates to parties.
We cannot tell any party the decision over the phone.
